Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal hosted Prof. Dr. Mohammed Seghir Halimi, Foreign Relations Coordinator from Kasdi Merbah Ouargla University in Algeria, and the accompanying delegation in his office on February 29, 2024.
During the visit, which took place in the Rectorate office, joint activities between the two institutions were discussed. During the meeting, ideas were exchanged within the framework of academic, scientific and cultural cooperation between the two institutions and a cooperation protocol was signed.
During the meeting, General Coordinator of Foreign Relations M. Öztürk Akcaoğlu and Lecturer. Assist. Yunus Sürücü and Dr. Damene Djamila, Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Salah Bennouna, Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Youcef Abiımouloud, Lecturer in Civil Engineering from Kasdi Merbah Ouargla University took part.
With the signed protocol, it is aimed to increase cooperation in activities such as the production of projects that will increase the capacity of both universities to produce science and the exchange of lecturers, researchers and students in the fields determined within the scope of these projects, publication and joint event planning.
Our Rector expressed his pleasure to cooperate with Kasdi Merbah University and stated that the cooperation with a well-established university in Algeria, with which we have historical ties, will take the education provided at international standards and quality one step further. Our Rector thanked Prof. Dr. Halimi, Coordinator of Foreign Relations, and the accompanying delegation for their cooperation and kind visit.
