Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal hosted Kastamonu Provincial Director of National Education Hasan Gümüş in his office on February 21, 2024.
During the visit at the Rectorate office, an "Education Cooperation Protocol" was signed between our University and Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of National Education within the framework of academic, scientific and cultural cooperation.
Within the scope of the protocol, it is aimed to improve the quality of educational services aimed at increasing the success levels of administrators, teachers and students by carrying out planned studies in all areas deemed appropriate by the parties, primarily in the determined educational areas, in educational institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education within the borders of Kastamonu.
The cooperation protocol signed between our University and the Provincial Directorate of National Education was made in order to increase the professional and personal competencies of school administrators and teachers, support educational activities, encourage academic studies and contribute to research projects. In addition, support will be given to seminars and other educational activities to be organized by the academic staff of our University for the administrators, teachers, students and parents of the schools.
Within the scope of the protocol, it is planned to support cultural, social, educational, personal development and social contribution activities organized by the Directorate of National Education, to encourage students to participate in technology competitions, to partner in national and international projects and to provide support in line with other needs.
With the protocol, the existing infrastructure facilities will be used in workshops and other activities to be held in the laboratories of our University, expert and guide staff support will be provided, and the necessary promotional activities for the projects will be carried out.
Education Leap in Kastamonu
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal emphasized the importance of the cooperation in order to support the students studying in Kastamonu to develop their personal potential and guide them in shaping their future. Our Rector thanked Hasan Gümüş, Kastamonu Provincial Director of National Education, for his kind visit and wished the cooperation protocol to be beneficial.
Kastamonu Provincial Director of National Education Gümüş stated that the cooperation with our University will provide great added value to the studies to be carried out in line with the vision of the Turkish Century and will create a great vision for the formation of an innovative thinking system for students and wished that the cooperation protocol will be beneficial to all parties in this context.
