Erasmus Days (ErasmusDays) activities organized by Kastamonu University Erasmus Coordinatorship started with an information meeting held on October 11, 2023 at Cemil Meriç Hall of the Central Library of our University. After the meeting, many students attended the refreshments and kite festival.
Erasmus Days (#ERASMUSDAYS) events were organized to increase the recognition of the Erasmus+ Program and the visibility of projects for this program and to encourage potential participants to benefit from Erasmus+.
At the information meeting, Erasmus Institution Coordinator Süleyman Çite informed the participants about student and staff mobility. Many students attended the event.
Kader Morkoç, a student of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, shared her Erasmus experiences and shared her experiences in the Learning Mobility she realized at Cordobo University in Spain.
After the information meeting, our students visited the stands opened by the Erasmus Coordination Office, the Governorship of Kastamonu, Kastamonu Art Working Hands and Local Flavors Women's Cooperative and the Red Crescent and tasted the treats.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal and our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük, Prof. Dr. Kasım Yenigün and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atalan also visited the stands established within the framework of the events.
Our Rector chatted with our students while visiting the stands established within the framework of the events. He stated that students who go abroad develop academically and socially and that they encourage both students and academic and administrative staff to participate in Erasmus activities.
In the afternoon program, Kite festivals were organized within the scope of #ErasmusDay activities. The event, where many students flew kites, attracted great interest from our students.
