According to the 2023 YKS (Higher Education Institutions Examination) placement results, our university was among the most preferred universities by reaching 99.62 percent occupancy rate.
According to the 2023 YKS placement results, the undergraduate occupancy rate reached 99.25% and the associate degree occupancy rate reached 100%.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, who made a statement on the subject, said, "I hope that the 2023 Higher Education placement results will be beneficial to all our students, their families and our country. I welcome our new students who have just joined the Kastamonu University Family to Kastamonu and wish them success in their education and training life."
Underlining the goals of Kastamonu University to move forward every year and the work towards this, our Rector said, "Kastamonu University, with its academic programs whose standards are rising day by day, research centers that continue their work with the aim of being the best in their field, and expert academic staff, has become one of the most preferred universities in our country with the published data. The preference rates, which have been increasing every year compared to previous years, continue this year as seen by the intense interest in our newly opened programs and departments. As the university administration, we will continue to support the scientific, sports and cultural development of our students in every field."
According to the 2023 YKS results, e-registrations for candidates placed in any department/program of our University will be held between August 28-30, and in-person registrations will be held between August 28 and September 1.
