In the ranking made for 2023 by AD Scientific Index, a rating organization that conducts studies on an international scale, Kastamonu University has achieved success by taking place with 44 academicians.
AD Scientific Index, which makes an academic success analysis based on the h-index, i10 index and number of citations criteria in the studies of scientists in the last 6 years, shares success lists in the categories of University, Subject, Country, Region and World. In this year's ranking, Kastamonu University had 44 academicians with an h-index value above 15. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Şevik, Prof. Dr. Yavuz Demirel, and Prof. Dr. Fatma Kandemirli took the first three places in the list.
According to this ranking, Kastamonu University ranked 1641st among 22386 institutions in the world, 40th among 209 universities in our country, 30th in the category based only on state universities, 8th among all universities established after 2000, and finally 3rd among all state universities established after 2000.
Kastamonu University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal congratulated the academicians for their work and the success achieved and stated that they aim to carry their R&D and scientific studies forward in terms of both quality and quantity in the coming years.
